Clinical Exercise Consultation

A Clinical Exercise Consultation (CEC) is a comprehensive session which focuses on active components of care without hands-on therapy. The consultant and client work together to develop an appropriate approach to activity and plan for exercise, based on the client’s health and fitness objectives and limitations.

Clinical Exercise Physiologists (CEP’s) are trained to develop individualized exercise plans to suit a client’s functional fitness goals while considering clinical limitations such as current medical issues, past injury history and pain limitations.

Your CEP will teach you proper exercise technique and show you how to determine and monitor appropriate exercise intensity. Existing exercise and rehabilitation programs can be reviewed and modified to suit current needs and goals.

What can you expect from your Clinical Exercise Consultation?

  • Appropriate exercise will be recommended.
  • Proper exercise technique will be reviewed to make sure you are getting the most out of your workout, while reducing your chances of aggravating injuries or pain.
  • Exercise monitoring tools and techniques will be introduced

Comprehensive rehabilitation and exercise program review:
